Trussle are an online mortgage broker, who provide expert mortgage advice via phone, email and a message system.
Trussle maintain various applications which are designed to handle various parts of the business. A major part of any business funnel is the acquisition stage, and the required responsibility was handed to the Landing Page, also known as the Home Page for Trussle.
The original Landing Page for Trussle was written in the Angular framework, with some parts utilising an Angular to React conversion tool to render components. This implementation became very hard to maintain and update so they decided to start the project from scratch using the React.JS framework.
Our responsibility became rewriting all the existing components in React, and working alongside the designer, to update and create new components that’ll update the look and feel of the Trussle brand.
Trussle also use dynamic data to populate their website, so it was a requirement for our implementation to work with the Contentful API. We believed that the most efficient way to proceed with this project, was to use Gatsby.JS, which shares GraphQL as a data query tool.
